Pamodzi-Issiyo

Music Crossroads along with Zimbabwe Musicians Union (ZIMU) partnered for a music development project called Pamodzi-Issiyo (which means in Nyanja and Japanese, together). A cohort from Japan and Britain led by Kayo Yoshida have roped teachers from the Academy in training music using the instruments, pianica to a batch of students at the Academy.
This year the project continues in its 2nd phase with an all-female participants group. Last year a group of students graduated in the program and this year they envisage to end the project in October.
