Congratulations to the Class of 2018!
On the 8thof August Harare Gardens, in Zimbabwe, hosted Music Crossroads’ annual inauguration ceremony for the class of 2018. For the second time this year, the Academy welcomed its friends to sincerely congratulate and deservedly award the students, who have successfully excelled in their respective fields of studies. While Music Crossroads offers its sincere felicitations and best wishes for all of the now-alumni of Music Crossroads Academy Zimbabwe, below are the highlights of this special event.

Not only were students awarded with the Professional Certificates in Music and Audio Engineering, but this time the alumni were also honoured by the presence of Mr. Comfort Mbofana, a broadcaster and division general manager from Zimpapers radio, and Mr. Amavel Pinto, a well-known veteran musician and recording engineer. However, as alumni displayed their high quality artistry to the audience, the honour became rather mutual. In fact, Mr. Comfort Mbofana even offered internship opportunities with the Zimpapers Radio from 2020.

The practice of our students getting internships in their field of expertise is not new. This year, for example, there were 10 hardworking students who will be soon undergoing their internships with Real Sounds, Hard Sounds, K.O.M. Studio and Events Evolution – some of the top companies in Zimbabwe operating within the music industry. And this is just the beginning of their bright and eventful path.
We thank every participant of the ceremony for their contribution and will be looking forward to seeing everyone again.
