Award-winning afro-fusion artist
Mary Anibal is an award-winning Afro-fusion artist who inspires people through music that blends folk and traditional melody that reflects African Zimbabwean culture. Her professional career started in 2016 as a Mbira session musician and her moment of reckoning came in 2017 when she performed at the Harare International Festival of the Arts (HIFA) with Soa Roy from Madagascar and Forest Jam. Since then, the Music Crossroads Academy alumna has grown as a vocalist, mbira player and percussionist who, since 2021, has been a part of Jah Prayzah’s 3G Band.
