After our successful first Creative Training Campus (CTC)
that took place from November to December 2016, hosted by the Music Crossroads Academy in Zimbabwe, we are excited in anticipation to the second CTC this year in Malawi.

Teachers from the Music Crossroads Academies, as well as young external music enthusiasts from Malawi, Mozambique, and Zimbabwe will have the opportunity to participate in three different workshops and six trainings from October 3rd until November 11th.
The campus proposes a variety of capacity building trainings to more than a hundred participants and this year will take place in Lilongwe, Malawi. The project is being co-funded by the European Union Cooperation (Erasmus+) and the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The aim of the project is to develop the technical skills of young musicians, enable them to generate income and to improve their overall capacities in order to find their place in the industry.

The CTC will deliver a number of workshops like Audio Engineering, Cultural Management as well as Instrument Build and Repair.
Incorporated is also the continued teacher training for our Music Crossroads Academies. Coordinated and administered by the Global Music Academy, this training will equip the trainees with skills in reading, writing, documenting music, which will then be passed on to future students for years to come and will allow them to document their own musical culture.
We are looking forward to it!
