Former Music Crossroads Academy Malawi student Adrian Kwelepeta will on 30th June 2017 launch his new music album, Live or Die Story.

Kwelepeta 22, is set to launch the album in Malawi’s capital Lilongwe at Grittah’s Camp.

After finishing his music studies at Music Crossroads Academy in 2015, Adrian endeavored to work on his sound and crafting mature lyrical content for his songs. His dedication and hard work have paid off. Soon in the stores will be his Live or Die Story an exceptional musical expedition, one that will leave music aficionados amused, charmed, lachrymose and emotionally rejuvenated.

Kwelepeta who is one of Music Crossroads Academy Malawi’s pride has proved to be a musician and half. That’s what one gets having gone through the corridors of Music Crossroads Academy. One never enrolls in the Academy and graduates the same. The transition is certain. Unlike many musicians in the country, Kwelepeta recorded his album live. To display his authority over music and prove that he isn’t only a musician but an artist, he played alone almost all the instruments on this album. With class, he displayed a spectacular of his skill on the drums, the bass, and the acoustic guitar. His beatboxing knack coupled with his unrivaled voice makes him a gem to reckon with.

Over the years, Kwelepeta has come of age and jealously built himself a big fan base within and outside the country.  Both young and old enjoy his music. He blends R n B, Rock, and Hip-Hop and comes up with sumptuous music that is soothing and pleasing to the ear.

Adrian’s Live or Die Story will be released under the UK label Spare Dog Records. In as far as his musical career is concerned, this is a great stride and milestone to highest heights. He is destined for success. The UK label has a studio in Malawi in Nkhata Bay district where Kwelepeta recorded his new album. The studio is run by Mattias Stålnacke, and works on a profit share basis, with capital provided by the label.
